StepMania is (c) Chris Danford, the StepMania development team, et al. The full text of StepMania's license is as follows: We absolutely support properly licensed games made with the StepMania engine though, such as Pulsen and (defunct) In The Groove, PIU PRO, etc. ![]() We have nothing to do with the content that might be on these machines, but we do not police how people use it, nor do we believe everyone else should suffer for the abuses of a few people. ![]() StepMania is designed to run on arcade cabinets and it is within your rights to use it for a commercial game, but we do not endorse machines with unlicensed content being used for profit. OMG! I saw StepMania in an arcade! Is that legal!? We don't make any money from the site itself or the game, so they really mean a lot. Donations are mostly used for developer hardware expenses and sometimes helping pay the bills. We don't currently host any, but you can find a bunch in the forums! Do I get anything for donating? We're interested in doing it once we've got a new stable release of the game and the new site is capable of hosting the files. Otherwise, let us know in #stepmania-devs on and we can restore your account. Accidents happen, if it was your only post then you should make a new account (you can use the same name). If you didn't do anything ban-worthy one of the admins may have hit the wrong button when cleaning up spam. Help! I've been banned, but I didn't do anything! Those were handled by Chris, who really doesn't have time for the project anymore. If you really want DDR, go play DDR! What happened to the StepMania CDs you used to sell? ![]() No, not at all - we're completely independent. Thanks again. Are you guys affiliated with Konami or Andamiro in any way? If you need anything, just contact my email through PayPal. Your efforts are appreciated and are in my opinion just as steppable as official DDR song lists. The song's varied progressions seem to be a good fit for being steppable, while the vocals are emotive enough to enhance the loud drum beats in the chorus and ending so there could be unique stepping variations for each difficulty.Īgain, thanks for being an influential part of the simfile community. Just kidding, the song has a similar sound to previous simfiles made by you and is probably not heard by most people because of the anime's OVA distribution. Hoping to have a six consecutive TrySail member song streak from each of your simfile packs starting from the New Era pack. (If the file doesn't work, full episodes by the official channel are available on YouTube with the opening intact)
